Meet the Team

Melynn Sight

Melynn left the corporate for-profit business world after 25 years to work with association executives and board leadership. Her communications and planning expertise helps to strengthen the value that associations deliver to their members.


- 22 years at Xerox Corporation in sales and marketing. Responsible for raising awareness and all aspect of the product and service portfolio, customer loyalty, product launches and events, pipeline growth, sales force planning, budgeting, and process development.

- Four years at StorageTek/Sun Microsystems creating and deploying integrated marketing programs (direct mail, e-mail, telemarketing, events, public relations and personal interactions with prospects.

- One year at Spencer Fane Britt & Browne LLP (Marketing Legal Services). Led website teams, branding, current and former client research and surveys, and establishing communications standards across the firm.

Melynn believes to whom much is given, much is expected. She believes in giving back. She is a Past President of the Overland Park Rotary Club; she currently serves on the Rotary Board of Trustees of the OP Rotary Club foundation, and a member of the Board of Johnson County’s Community Foundation.

Kelley Rodill, Marketing Coordinator

Kelley Rodill is a marketing professional with over 13 years of experience including internet marketing, direct marketing, email marketing, public relations, social media management, copywriting, design, pay-per-click programs, search engine optimization, event planning and more.

At nSight Marketing, Kelley helps on a wide range of tasks including survey creation and distribution, email marketing, and mobile app development.

Kat Szymanski, Engagement Coordinator

Kat Szymanski brings years of marketing experience in both small business and large retail corporations.  Her background includes customer relationship management, branding, and direct mail, online and social media marketing.

As Engagement Coordinator, Kat brings an enthusiasm for communications and relationship building to the nSight team.

Ryan Reeves, Creative Services Specialist

Ryan Reeves has worked with clients from across the U.S., the U.K. and France to design and develop business promotions.  Between graduating from Houston’s Texas Academy of Art and opening her own freelance graphics business, she worked in-house with such prestigious firms as Hearst Magazines (Redbook), Price Waterhouse, Schwinn Cycling and Fitness, and the Denver-based law firm of Holland and Hart.

She specializes in animated presentations and promotional video development. With formal training in commercial art, and professional experience in journalism and marketing, she helps with a wide variety of projects for nSight Marketing.

Carol Weinrich Helsel, Writer

Carol Weinrich Helsel is a freelance writer and marketing/communications consultant with clients in the US and Europe. She has 22 years of experience in national real estate association management in the areas of marketing, public relations, education and international relations. At nSight Marketing, Carol assesses association communications—including websites—and member survey findings to identify, develop and produce information and messages to help meet the communication goals of the organization.

Teresa Mandala, Creative Director

Teresa’s strength is in campaign design and direction. She is also an artist and instructor at the Kansas City Art Institute. She has over 15 years experience in advertising and marketing. Spending most of her time leading, designing and implementing successful campaigns and strategies for clients nationwide.

Her philosophy is to create beautiful work that cuts through the noise to uniquely tell the client’s story.

Amanda Knapp, Graphic Designer

Amanda has more than 12 years experience in graphic design. She found her creative calling at Scholastic Inc., and has never looked back, adding creative flair to everything from baby diapers to infographics to national print campaigns. Amanda’s work can be seen across national brands such as Johnson & Johnson, Dunkin’ Donuts, McGraw-Hill Education, Verizon and Bayer.

Amanda holds a B.A. in history from Penn State and a graduate certificate in Graphic and Digital Design from the New School.
