Need to Know Leadership
Association staff, aspiring and seasoned board members alike, will value leadership courses. The courses are relevant, fun and interactive with no “sitting around and just listening.”
Objectives
- Learn necessary skills to become an effective association leader, with a focus on five key areas such as strategic planning and goal setting, risk management, conflict resolution and building relationships with volunteers.
- Participants will focus on enhancing their leadership skills to advance the strategic plan, develop future leaders, effectively facilitate meetings, understand governance, and improve their communications.
Deliverable
Two three-hour courses are available: Each course covers several leadership topics and provides participants with leadership self-evaluation tools.
