Our Story

Our Story

Our very first communications project was our own.

We are here today because several of our team members, each with marketing experience wanted to apply our experience to the association industry.

More than ten years ago we launched a communications company to listen, and then to experiment with a few theories. We put them into practice, and refined them as we stepped into your shoes. Most of them still work today. While every association is different, many of our systems present a framework to solve an association’s unique communication challenges.

We’ve grown a lot since 2007. We had the chance to shape how associations communicate their unique value message to their members. (In other words, what makes you different and most relevant.) You are the reason our business is relevant today.

Our mission is to help you build connections that matter through a strategy that turns indifferent members into active participants.

You’ll build better connections if you take a serious look at the way you communicate. A communications strategy battles indifference, helps overcome distraction in the inbox, and shape or re-shape your members’ perspective.

More than the words you say; we help you look at your communications as part of your association’s strategy. When we partner with associations, we take a wider view of your communications and how they all fit together by wondering:

  • Maybe your “attendance” problem is actually an “awareness” problem?
  • Maybe your content assumes members are interested, instead of selling them about how your association solves their problems?
  • Maybe you haven’t formally asked your members in years what they really think?

Our story is a collection of connections. Every CEO and Executive Director is a critical part of our story because you are the ones who take the results, the new systems or new plan, and oversee how it lives on.

Our team is passionate about helping you find solutions to your biggest communications challenges.

We have done what we love for more than ten terrific years. We are excited to share this value-creating journey with you.
